Since joining Ford of Europe in 1995, Abraham Philip has held numerous positions in the area of safety hardware and electronics, specializing in connected services that work to enhance the lives of drivers while maintaining high safety standards. 

The holder of 16 patents, Philip has been an integral part of several firsts for Ford, including the adaptive safety system, the seat weight sensing system, and the emergency assistance system which calls emergency personnel in the event of a vehicle crash. He also developed a customizable Restraints Control Module and sensors system that has saved the company millions. Most recently, he led a global team for the development and implementation of the safety electronics sensor fusion system, an industry first, and oversaw Ford’s first in-region AppLink developer challenges in Tel Aviv and Dublin. 

Based in Cologne, Philip holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and currently leads the Connected Vehicle and Services Organization, responsible for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia.

Before joining AVG in 2011, Shaul lead Sightix Technologies and was awarded by Web2.0 2008 Confrance as the innovation choice. He was the founder and CTO of Gilian Technologies, a leading application security provider and drove the technology research and prototype development of an advanced Video-on-Demand project.

Shaul is a regular lecturer on Internet protocols and JAVA programming at the Tel Aviv University College. He graduated cum laude from the Technion Institute of technology in Israel.

In 2015, after some success stories with startups, Christina Ribault launched a Corporate Accelerator; the “Start Tech Factory”. By providing business units of Air France, a favorable environment for innovation with startups, the Start Tech Factory accelerates the creation of new innovative business.
